Itinerary
Day 1 : (You'll get picked up and visit temples below)
After departing from Siem Reap, you will have the opportunity to visit Banteay Srei, a remarkable site considered the jewel in the crown of Angkorian art. This Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, known as the "Citadel of the Women," showcases exquisite pinkish-hued stone carvings, some of the finest in the world. Following this, you'll have the chance to explore Neak Poan, Ta Som, and East Mebon. The first day of the tour culminates in witnessing the breathtaking sunset at Phnom Bakheng, a temple with historical significance and stunning views, providing you with an unforgettable experience and memories to cherish for a lifetime.
Day 2:
Our escort guide and driver will be meeting you at 4.00am to 4:30 am at your hotel’s lobby then transfer within Angkor jungle toward the magnificent Angkor Wat where we wait to watch the spectacular sunrise over Angkor Wat towers and capture its beautiful sunrise reflection at the lotus pond. After visiting sunrise at the pool then we explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough two hours discovering the corridors, central chambers and upper terraces of this truly great temple. Your expert local guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings, and give you an insight into life during the height of the Khmer empire.
We end our tour at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple (take away, from your hotel or at local retaurant arround the temple), and a short rest. Continue the morning by visit the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom, flanked by a row of 54 stone figures on each side - gods to the left and demons to the right – and the fortified city of Angkor Thom. At ‘The Bayon’ (12th century) we see its beautifully crafted central towers, covered in more than 200 enormous faces, then explore the famous Terrace of the Leper King, and the Terrace of Elephants and continue to visit Preah Khan temple built in the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII to honor his father.
Enjoy lunch at your own expense, and a rest break before move on to the jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm one of the most atmospheric of all temples in Angkor. Once home to 2,740 monks, Ta Prohm today looks much as it did in the early 1850s, when French explorer Henri Mouhot ‘rediscovered’ this crumbling site. After exploring the maze-like interior of Ta Prohm, return to your hotel after a long but fulfilling day, which will leave you with a lifetime of memories of one of the wonders of the world.
Day 3:
Leave your hotel to visit Beng Mealea temple. It is a very impressive temple built in the reign of King Suryavarman II, 12th century CE, and modified by Jayavarman VII. It is located in Beng Mealea village, Beng Mealea commune, Svay Leu District, Siem Reap province. It is about 65 Km Northwest of Siem Reap town and faces the eastern part of Kulen mountain on one side. Importantly, it is situated along the Royal Road to the east of Angkor, where leads from the eastern part of Bakheng mountain then continue to visit Kulen Mountain Waterfall and pink colour stone known as Banteay Srei temple.
