For the Kulen Mountain tour, we will pick you up from your hotel in Siem Reap around 7:40 AM in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. The journey to the mountain takes approximately 1.5 hours, offering scenic views of the Cambodian countryside along the way. After a full day of exploring Kulen’s historical and natural sites, including the Reclining Buddha, River of a Thousand Lingas, and the waterfall, we’ll drop you off at your hotel in the evening, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Stop At: Banteay Srei, Siem Reap Cambodia

Banteay Srei is a 10th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located about 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) north of Angkor Wat, it's renowned for its intricate carvings, which are considered some of the finest in all of Khmer architecture. The temple is made of red sandstone, allowing for elaborate and detailed artwork, including scenes from Hindu.

Stop At: Preah Ang Thom pagoda, Cambodia

Preah Ang Thom is an 8 meters (26 ft) tall statue of the reclining Buddh reaching nirvana. The statue is carved into a huge natural sandstone boulder to which a modern staircase has been added along with a shelter over the Buddha. It is a very sacred and special site for all Cambodians and there are always patrons visiting the site and at times becoming quite busy.

Stop At: 1000 Lingas, Siem Reap Cambodia

Along a stretch of the riverbed for around 500 m there are carvings of linga, several big and small yoni, and a large carving of Vishnu. Along the walls of the riverbed, a small carving is also seen in the bedrock.

Stop At: Phnom Kulen Waterfall, Siem Reap Cambodia

There are two main waterfall in Phnom Kulen National Park. First waterfall: 4–5 metres (13–16 ft) tall and around 25 metres (82 ft) wide during the rainy seasons. Second waterfall: 15–20 metres (49–66 ft) tall and around 15 metres (49 ft) wide during the rainy seasons. The size of the waterfalls varies according to the seasons and the rain. Visiting the waterfalls is a popular activity on Kulen Mountain Tour.

Beng Mealea, located about 40 kilometers east of Angkor Wat, is one of Cambodia’s most enigmatic temples. Built in the early 12th century, it remains largely unrestored, giving visitors a sense of discovery as they wander through its collapsed galleries and vine-covered walls. Unlike other temples in the region, Beng Mealea is surrounded by thick jungle, with trees and roots intertwined with the temple stones, creating an atmosphere of mystery and adventure. Its massive scale and largely untouched state make it a captivating destination for those seeking a more authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience.

After a full day of exploring Kulen Mountain’s highlights, including the Reclining Buddha, River of a Thousand Lingas, and the waterfalls, Banteay Srei temple, we will begin the return journey in the late afternoon. The drive back to Siem Reap takes about 1.5 hours, and we will drop you off at your hotel around 5:00PM to 5:30 PM, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing end to your tour.

• Travelers are required to purchase the Angkor Pass either directly onsite or online for the Banteay Srei and Beng Mealea temple fee, which is $37 USD per person.
• This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience.
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers.
• For tourists who have already visited Banteay Srei or Beng Mealea, this tour is still available. For example, if a tourist has already visited Banteay Srei, they can join this tour to visit Kulen Mountain and Beng Mealea by purchasing a separate ticket for Beng Mealea, which costs $10 per person. Alternatively, if a tourist already has a Banteay Srei Pass and does not want to include Beng Mealea, they can still join this tour to visit Banteay Srei and Kulen Mountain. In this case, they can wait with our driver while other tourists visit Beng Mealea with the tour guide.
• This tour takes you to destinations of significant local interest. Please note that these areas can be crowded, especially during Cambodian public holidays The site’s beauty varies by season. For example, the 1000 Lingas and the waterfall may appear larger or smaller depending on the time of year. If you plan to swim, we recommend bringing a swimsuit and a towel. Changing rooms are available on-site for your convenience For guests with lower physical fitness levels, we do not recommend joining the group tour due to the physical demands of the experience. However, the private tour option can be arranged to better suit your needs The small-group tour is limited to a maximum of 12 participants, ensuring a more personalized and enjoyable experience for everyone Pickup is scheduled between 7:30 and 8:00 AM from your hotel.
